Buenos Aires – San Telmo

From mountains of people, to completely deserted streets. San Telmo has a stark contrast between mon-fri and the weekend. I went the first time during the week when I was passing through on my way to La Boca (and forgot my camera! facepalm!) But the weekend thereafter we went with a bunch of girls to soak in the energy of the San Telmo markets. It’s definitely touristy, but it’s also really fun. And a great place to get some souvenirs and fun home trinkets. WP_20150126_01020150127030459 modifiedDSC_0304DSC_0100DSC_0354 modified DSC_0305 DSC_0306 DSC_0311 DSC_0313 DSC_0319 DSC_0323 modified DSC_0336IMG_5939 modified DSC_0341 modified

There’s music everywhere and hundred of people selling ‘junk’, coffee, cakes, fresh juices. It’s definetly ‘a day out’. Some of the characters we spotted during the day were just priceless. How sassy is that tango preformer?! She must be around 80+ and is still wearing fishstocking. Just another confirmation you’re never too old to shine.
