Gothenburg is often the forgotten sister of Stockholm, but it’s kind of wonderful. It’s very hilly, a tad smaller and the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed. I think it’s due to all the students from Chalmars Tech. It’s host to Way Out West, probably one of the few good festivals out here and has a great big park (Slottsparken) with open zoo. For the extremely big kanellbulle and cappuccino’s in a soupbowl, head over to Haga, the trendy area. In the summer you can cruise around on the canals or out to the Archipelago islands. It’s got Liseberg park (what’s up with these carnivals in Scandinavia?) and 30 min. outside is the Kungsbacka Freeport Outlet, big tip! Other than that, just enjoy it and soak up the sight. None of these pictures needed editing, so I guess that says enough. More on Gothenburg can be found here
Over and out.
